What kind of power cable and transformer should I need?
e.gSuppose there is a set of 4 path lights (each 3W) and 2 flood lights (each 4.5W) need to be installed in the garden, How to choose the cable and the transformer?
1.Add the individual light fixture wattages for all lights. 4*3W+2*4.5W=21W
2.The typical distance between two lights is 6-8 feet, but closer or farther is ok too. Based on the above diagram, 6 lights total watts in 0-60 should choose 75-100ft 16AWG power cable.
3.Transformer is large enough to support the Total Fixture Wattage, it should be the best usage within 80 percent of the rated capacity. So in this case a 45W transformer is enough.
Note: A transformer that is too large for the load may overdrive the lamps which will shorten their life spans.

Solid construction, great packaging and very bright
I was surprised by how well packaged these lights are and by the heavy duty construction. Even the stakes are metal. The lights are bright, beautiful and serve as both pathway and accent lighting. I initially wanted a set of lights with replaceable bulbs, but these seem to be great value for the money. Time will tell if the built-in LEDs last, but I am pleased so far.

These ARE compatible with 12 volt AC or DC power supplies
Hey there, contrary to what some reviews have incorrectly stated, these lights are 12 volt AC compatible (this is really a must, as most landscape transformers supply 12 volt AC, not DC.) This is not just true of 'older systems'... AC power is better at transmitting through wires over distance, with much less power loss as the current travels through the wires. (This is why commercial/residential power systems always use AC not DC). AC is simply superior, and also doesn't require that you consider positive versus negative wires when hooking up the lights; with AC, the wires can be hooked up either way, very easy! Technically speaking, LED bulbs only work on DC current (hence the confusion here with some folks), but it just takes a simple rectifier circuit within the light fixture to convert the AC current from the wires to DC within the fixture. Presto, the LED light has DC power, even though the transformer is sending AC power to the light. I've got a lot of different types of LED lights in my landscape lighting, all powered by 12 volt AC transformers. I wouldn't buy a light that only worked with DC current. The manufacturer is on record as stating that these lights work with AC or DC, so there you go.

Just perfect!
I am sooooo pleased with these! They look beautiful day and night! Finish is a medium/dark brown with just a little bit of metallic sparkle. Lights and transformer were very easy to install. Ground spikes were durable enough to be pounded in with a hammer. Just enough light on my driveway without looking like a landing strip at the airport. I am considering another set for the back yard.

Sturdy and Bright - a Beautiful Upgrade
We’re very impressed with the style, build and finish of these lights. All six units were easy to install, and work perfectly. The light they cast is warm and interesting. We bought this set to replace some plastic fixtures that were beginning to crumble from exposure to the elements. These lights are constructed of cast aluminum, with glass lenses, which assures they will last indefinitely outdoors. Also, I found the wiring attachment clips to be far superior to those on our old set. These were far easier to use, and although not waterproof connectors, seem to offer a more reliable electrical connection.My only disappointment was seeing that the LEDs are permanently built into the fixtures, not replaceable ‘bulbs’. This means that they cannot be replaced when they fail, something inevitable that can happen prematurely due to a near lightning strike. Also, these LEDs are not dimmable, which would have been a nice option to have.

WAY BETTER THAN THE PICTURES SHOW IN PERSON
These lights are the best we ever seen and best price. The crinkled glass is impressive even when not lit in daytime. Lit up they are even better. Super easy to put together and install wire then stab in the ground. The finish on these are really great and look high quality. You get what you pay for and these will last years.
I purchased my baylights 2 years ago,I purchased the 250,200 and the 150 watt dimmable bay lights, my bodyshop has 21 foot in middle down to 14 foot sides, I actually purchased 53 lights, I did have a few start blinking and the employees of hykolity was extremely helpful to warranty my lights. There is no equal value for the price, I have purchased the one from Lowe’s for 260.00 a piece, and I’m very happy with these bay lights and there not a gimmick, they are the real deal on lights, all my friends have purchased for there shops and businesses as well! I loved these lights from the moment I opened the box. The crackled glass is beautiful. I love the bronze color. They are a nice heavy weight. Very good quality. Very easy to install. I also love the sensor for the lights to come on at dusk automatically.

I bought 6 ufo 300w high bay led lights for my 48’x64’ 13’ ceiling height pole building. I was skeptical that 6 lights were enough. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Super bright, no dark areas. Well made Quality lights.
Seems to work as advertised - simple operation. Only negative I've seen so far is that the plastic grip on the hydraulic control lever was broken, but the splitter still works just fine.
