What kind of power cable and transformer should I need?
e.gSuppose there is a set of 4 path lights (each 3W) and 2 flood lights (each 4.5W) need to be installed in the garden, How to choose the cable and the transformer?
1.Add the individual light fixture wattages for all lights. 4*3W+2*4.5W=21W
2.The typical distance between two lights is 6-8 feet, but closer or farther is ok too. Based on the above diagram, 6 lights total watts in 0-60 should choose 75-100ft 16AWG power cable.
3.Transformer is large enough to support the Total Fixture Wattage, it should be the best usage within 80 percent of the rated capacity. So in this case a 45W transformer is enough.
Note: A transformer that is too large for the load may overdrive the lamps which will shorten their life spans.

1 light failed within 3 days of installation
Installed lights and one light failed almost immediately ... 3 days after install. The maintenance free LED plastic enclosure appears a bit green on the inside and would no longer light. I removed that light from the path. All other lights are operating as intended on a 12V circuit, with a true 12 volts at the point the light was installed ... tested the light with a separate 12 V circuit and it would not light.Evidence shows the LED enclosure has failed for that unit.Disappointed about that! ... they were nice looking lights and was considering using them in other places around the ranch. ... but the reliability is not there.Kind regards,Ranch Owner

They are MUCH brighter than I expected.
After installing these it became apparent that I should have ordered something with a few less watts. They work fine, seem to be good quality. They've been in the ground a few months, but I should have gotten something a little less intense. And when the bulbs on these units go, the entire fixture goes. No serviceable parts

Easy to install, and placed only 20 inches from the fence it gives my 6 ft hardwood fence the the luxury feeling it deserves at night! Looks fantastic.
I purchased my baylights 2 years ago,I purchased the 250,200 and the 150 watt dimmable bay lights, my bodyshop has 21 foot in middle down to 14 foot sides, I actually purchased 53 lights, I did have a few start blinking and the employees of hykolity was extremely helpful to warranty my lights. There is no equal value for the price, I have purchased the one from Lowe’s for 260.00 a piece, and I’m very happy with these bay lights and there not a gimmick, they are the real deal on lights, all my friends have purchased for there shops and businesses as well! I loved these lights from the moment I opened the box. The crackled glass is beautiful. I love the bronze color. They are a nice heavy weight. Very good quality. Very easy to install. I also love the sensor for the lights to come on at dusk automatically.
