2 ft lights

These lights are brighter than I thought. They are easy to mount you may need to look at the length of screw to your appellation.

Great LED Replacements

Replacing old florescent tubes with these has been very rewarding. Easy to rewire the fixtures with new tombstones. Much brighter.

Great lights

I received and installed 16 of the 20 T8 hybrid light tubes from Hykolity on 4 of my 4lamp flourescent lights with electronic ballasts and all of them came on without a hitch and much brighter than the old lights. I'm happy with this purchase and hope they last.

Works great, may need to bypass the ballast, easy thing to do.

If you have an old home with fluorescent tubes, chances are your ballast may not be compatible. But don't be discouraged, it is very easy to bypass the ballast and make it works. All LED bulbs work with direct current. To make it easy for us to swap from fluorescent to LED bulb, they try to tweak these LED compatible with some modern ballasts, but not all.If you hook it up, and lights do not shine, then it is not compatible with your ballast, time for an easy bypass, or call an electrician. Search youtube for how to expose your ballast (squeezing the cover immediate above the tube or turn one screw...). Chances are also your old set up was double-end type. Turn off main electrical source, then cut the wires from both sides of ballast, then reconnect white (neutral) to 2 wires from one side (usually yellow); and the black to 4 wires from other side (usually 2 blue and 2 red). I used Way-go connectors with ease. My understanding is you could connect either white or black to either side. You, now, bypass the ballast. You could remove it and throw away, or just leave them there with all the severed wires taped away. Reassemble your light with new LED bulbs, and voila! Search youtube for better instruction how to do it. Good luck. It took me less than 10 minutes.
